The JW Hol-ee Roller: The Interactive Toy for Both Food and Non-Food Motivated Play (With Videos!)

If the JW Hol-ee Roller ball isn't on your radar when it comes to enrichment, I'm here to change your mind!

This neat little ball is so versatile, which is why we love it. The Hol-ee Roller can be played with as-is, or built into enrichment puzzles for your dog. I'll show you some variations and how to put them together below.

Note: To set your dog up for success, remove the Roller once the activity or game is complete. I have a mega chewer, and while some people boast about the Hol-ee Roller's durability, my dog has personally gotten through a one before. Removing the JW Hol-ee Roller once the brain game is finished will help your Hol-ee Roller live a longer life!

Other Tips For Success:

1. Start easy! When introducing these puzzles, make the variations very simple. This allows your dog some time to get used to the activity and how it works.

2. Don't stuff with items that are too large. Example: Something that you struggle to put inside on your own. We want the variations to gradually increase in difficulty, but we don't want them to be impossible. If you have a hard time getting something in or out with thumbs, imagine how hard it will be when only using your mouth!

3. Modify when needed. Example: If you have a dog who fixates on paper, opt for towels. If you have a dog who loves tennis balls, integrate them!
